Re: Crappy Nightmare Ville

Thanks Sean and Bryan - you guys know how to make folks feel welcome. Heck sure I remember you Sean. I still owe you and you other former bandmates a copy of the video we made of Panda(rrr) at that show. I've been kinda out of commission a while, sorry about that. Just keeping that Louisville procra...

Re: Crappy Nightmare Ville

Ah ok, Perry dug out the tape, case is parts unknown in moving box somewhere. It is their eponymous release from 1994. Side 1: "It Belongs to the Buzzards" and "Horror Fish" Side 2: "Harse Kelly's Crawling Flesh" and "It's Always Night in the World of the Coelacant...

Re: Crappy Nightmare Ville

There are a couple things on the horizon that I am aware of, but there might be others too. Don't recall what the album title is, but we have an ancient tape as well. It's unfortunately been buried in the packing chaos to move back to Lville (Perry has managed to pack us out of the reasonable necess...

worked 2 part time jobs plus a campus job, didn't have a car so no outlay or gas money there, child support saved by my mom over the course of my childhood (from 5 to 17) that added up to maybe 300 dollars, a small inheritance, and some scholarship money. I am damn lucky I didn't have to take any lo...

Re: FLYER & OTHER MISC. THREAD

This shit is fun - scanning all this crap has got my memory almost working. Something I noticed in one of the scans is hilarious to me at least - check out the visitor on the flyer for Shut Out and Nitrous, with what I guess is Venom in the lower right. Happy coincidence indeed. - I think the image ...

Re: FLYER & OTHER MISC. THREAD

That Bill Terry poem is brilliant. I was at that Teen Pregnancy! Lizard show at the Tiger. I am pretty sure it was 96, and I am almost 100% sure we showed up after Six Finger. Sorry I missed that crowd-slappin frenzy. I'm not sure which ones I've already sent to Bryan for the flyer archive, so there...

Hell yes! This is great. I really enjoy the site. Mr. Maxson, you don't happen to have any surplus Your Food LPs sitting around do you??????? Maxson, you are a force to be reckoned with. May the gods of fortune smile upon your travels, and the ears of the masses bleed from your sonic assault. What ...

Re: Cirlce X

hell yeah circle x. I got obsessive about this band when I found out about them a couple two three some years ago. So, we have several 7"s that aren't transferred yet, but I've put the s/t cd up tonight in lieu of Daisy's awaited homecoming. This is the first time I've uploaded to sendspace so ...

They were great. I only got to see them 2 or 3 times (once at Louisville Gardens? and I want to say Vogue Theater, possibly was Vogue's last show, maybe St. Francis? but I can't remember venues too well). Theirs was one of the most memorable local bands I've seen. Really different from the other loc...

I'm not going to able to describe them as well as others here might, for one cause my brain ain't workin so good today. I will say the older version sounds different from the newer, some people don't like the newer, but I think both are equally great. Tim Ruth's guitar playin is evident in both. Do ...

Do you still want em? They're yellowing away over here. Which is weird for digital, but yeah.
