I play drums in the ever on-again, off-again project Lanai (see also: Spritely). In the past year I have accompanied Second Story Man and eremy•JIrvin, though it is seldom and only when they need extra hands.

Currently my brother, Evan, and I have been playing music with one of our dear friends -- Stephen Slaton. Stephen has played in bands such as Morning Belle, The Writing Scar, Jettison, and Stand Down. Stephen was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer of the brain, and we have been working with him in an effort to perform his songs at a show in the very near future.

Ive known Stephen for a long long time but have been really out of the loop with all that is happening with him as of late. I'm really glad to hear about this cd.
