Monolith (my new project)

Post by Doug Walker » Thu Jun 20, 2013 1:11 pm

This is my new thing. I'm writing all the music and recording all the parts. I have Aaron Howell (MF Ruckus) of Denver, CO doing all the vocal duties. As of right now it's bedroom demos, electric drumkit, digital 8 track, and a crappy DAW on my laptop. It's just metal.

I'm going into the studio in a week to finish working on the full length, which should be out sometime around January. I've got a touring line up put together, and we're looking at some short west coast runs early next year.

If it's up your alley, go to the facebook page and hit the like button. Should start seeing some merch available on there sometime in the late summer/fall.

Thanks!

Thanks man.

Yes, I have 2 regular bands that I drum for. Both of them are finishing up records with me on them now...so I should have something else in the next couple months...but I'm not allowed to post anything up music wise until the material is released. One is garagey/surf...the other is like 70s power rock.

I'm not really into that stuff, but I can imagine your drums really pushing it and fuckin' slaying. Post up a link when it's released! Same with the Monolith stuff.

Takes a while to get it from bedroom demo to finished product when all parties involved live in different states or cities. But thanks for the feedback.
