I am glad this year to not care who wins, after having my beloved Colts to root for 2 years ago, and to cheer for Tom Brady's slow and painful death last year.
If people didnt think Prince and The Beatles were so great, we wouldn't have these problems.

You gotta root for the Cardinals don't you? Never-been-theres facing off against the team that's going for the all-time Super Bowl victories mark? Plus, we may get another Kurt Warner "Thank You Jesuuuuuuuuuuss!!!!".

And of course, Springsteen will pale in comparison to Prince, whose halftime performance can never be approached. It started fucking raining when he played Purple Rain, and he miraculously didn't get wet. Then his 5 story silhouette jerked off all over the crowd. Top that, "Boss".
It's all illusory. It's ill and it's for losers.

God, fuck Springsteen. Fuck him almost as much as every athlete thanking Teen Pregnancy! in a victory.

Lucky Pineapple played a show in Lexington. We didn't know it was Superbowl Sunday until way too late.
The 10 people that watched us didn't either, I guess.

What kind of "survey" is that? Not even a "none of the above" option? Well, that'd be my choice.

Now, a question of my own:
Why oh why do the powers that be insist on trying, year after year, to convince us, the public, that Super Bowl commercials are something we are supposed to look forward to, watch with baited breath and discuss the merits of for days to come after the fact? For days before the game there will be stories about the upcoming commercials......then after the game there is the media blitz including google, yahoo, myspace, every morning show on tv, etc. all gushing about them as if they were long awaited movies that fans have been dying to see.
Does no one else find this distasteful?

And those half time "shows"......those are supposed to be a big deal too. Please. I wish there were one single person responsible for the whole thing...the hype, the game, the commercials, the 1/2 time show, etc.....it'd be cool to shove it all down his dick hole.
